Car wash murder suspect captured in Warner Robins

Riyod Reddick, wanted for the murder of Tracy Harvey Johnson, has been apprehended.  Reddick was located in Warner Robins by a Joint Fugitive Task Force based out of Macon.  He is being held in the Houston County jail pending transfer back to the Sumter County Jail.

 

On October 19th, officers of the Americus Police Department were dispatched to a report of a male who had been shot at 11:09 PM.  The victim was transported to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.  The victim was identified as Tracy Harvey Johnson, age 30. whose last known address was in Americus.  Through a joint investigation by the Americus Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Riyod Reddick was identified as the suspect.  He is currently charged with murder and aggravated assault.
