Americus Fire & Emergency Services has a clown troupe which is used to teach fire safety in area schools. The troupe also puts on a series of shows for local students during October, which is Fire Safety Month, at the Rylander Theatre, downtown Americus. These dedicated firefighters bring a fun and fresh approach to fire safety education and bring kids and adults alike hearty laughs and big smiles.
