Three Americus-Sumter High School students competed at the SkillsUSA “Skills Challenge Welding Competition” in Moultrie. Thomas Saint, Hunter Aldridge, and Willie Peoples-Tyson competed against 74 other students from across South Georgia. Saint, Aldridge, and Peoples-Tyson each earned a $500 scholarship to Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville.
