AMERICUS — Mr. Michael Wayne Taylor, age 29, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, in Americus, Ga. A memorial service held in his honor at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at Aldridge Funeral Services. The Rev. Chris Wooden will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service time Wednesday at Aldridge Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus.

Mr. Taylor was born on June 2, 1988, in Perry, Ga., son of the late Marty Wayne Taylor and Angela Richards. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his mother, Angela Richards (Jeff Deriso) of Americus, Ga.; a daughter, Presleigh Nicole Taylor of Americus, Ga., and a son, Mason Wayne Taylor of Weston, Ga.; two brothers, Kevin Deriso of California and Jonathon Deriso of Cumming, Ga.; a grandmother, Martha Richards of Americus, Ga.; and a grandfather, Johnny Taylor of Americus, Ga.; one aunt, Cissy McDonald (Charlie) of Cordele, Ga.; and uncles, Mark Richards of New Port Richie, Fla., Matt Richards of Americus, Ga., and Dennis Taylor of Americus, Ga.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by grandparents, Betty Jean Rollins and Malcolm Richards.
