Sumter County Middle School Junior Beta Club recently attended its annual Beta Club Convention in Savannah. The students participated in competitions and the election process. Students were able to see the beautiful city of Savannah, learn about its rich history, and see the wonderful sights and sounds of River Walk. A 2017-2018 National Beta School of Distinction banner was awarded to Sumter County Middle School for their commitment to academic excellence and dedication to preparing students for college and career readiness. Grade level sponsors are Marilyn Williams, Aisha Evans, Johnny Genwright, and Inez Wiggins. Principal is Anton Anthony.
