Economic Outlook Luncheon Tuesday

AMERICUS — The Center for Business and Economic Development announces that the 2018 Economic Outlook Luncheon will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 in the private dining room of the Marshall Student Center at Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW). This is the 22nd in a series of annual economic outlook events sponsored by the Center at GSW and its partner the Americus Rotary Club.
This year’s program  features Ken Heaghney, Ph.D., who is the State Fiscal Economist for Georgia. Heaghney also serves as research professor of economics in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. He has over 20 years of experience working with business leaders on a wide range of economic problems and issues. Much of his recent experience has been on applying economic analysis to the development and implementation of pricing strategies. As state economist, he is responsible for developing the annual tax revenue forecast for the state’s budget and advising the Governor’s office on economic and other policy issues.
