BUENA VISTA — Mrs. Sarah Rebecca “Becky” Roberts, 80, passed away at her residence on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, in the chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with the Rev. David Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Buena Vista Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts was born Oct. 25, 1937, in Columbus, Ga., to the late Cecil Forrest Woods and Madeline McCoy Woods. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buena Vista and loved spending time at the community center and playing bingo and games. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Graham Roberts.

Survivors include her three sons, Richard Timothy Roberts and his wife, Deanna of Valdosta, Ga., William Daniel Roberts of Nashville, Tenn., and John Michael Roberts and companion, Molly Smith of Ideal, Ga.; two brothers, Cecil F. Woods Jr. of Panama City, Fla., and Harold Woods of Columbus, Ga.; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Buena Vista Senior Citizens Center, 119 Baker St., Buena Vista GA 31803.
