SANDY, Utah — H.S. Wardell Jr. of Sandy, Utah, died on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at his home.  A native of Americus, Georgia, he was born on Sept. 12, 1937, to the late H.S. Wardell Sr. and the late Thelma Edith Downer Wardell. He was married to his wife, Sandra for 58 years.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home in Monroe, Ga. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
Surviving are: wife, Sandra Griffin Wardell of Sandy, Utah; daughter, Linda Wardell of Sandy, Utah.
