AMERICUS – If you’re looking for a fun, exciting and unique way to go on a bike ride, the students at GSW have the thing for you. According to Sue Hite of Sumter Cycling, on Friday, March 2, the GSW students will launch the Neon Dash Bike Ride. It’s a 6.7-mile loop around Americus beginning at Rylander Park at 6 p.m.

In order to decorate your bike and yourselves, the GSW students will provide glow sticks and glow necklaces prior to the ride. After the ride is over, participants can stay for refreshments and snacks. This is part of a feature of First Friday Americus.
