Allison Morrison and Brenda Green’s Pre-K class at Sumter County Primary School was chosen as the GoNoodle Classroom of the Month in November 2017. Their class was selected out of hundreds of classrooms in our sponsored area because of the daily GoNoodle usage. GoNoodle rewarded the students’ hard work, and the class celebrated with a GoNoodle Dance Party for Fun Friday. GoNoodle is a program sponsored by Phoebe Putney Health System that has energizing and calming dances, songs, and games that provide an outlet for extra energy in the classroom. On days the weather is not suitable for outdoor play, GoNoodle allows teachers an opportunity to provide physical fitness and fun in the classroom. Teachers also use GoNoodle to provide quick brain breaks in between daily instruction. This allows the children to better focus and contributes to fewer discipline issues. The students love the unique and engaging activities and look forward to using GoNoodle each day at school.
