AMERICUS – After a solid 3-0 victory over Valwood on Tuesday, March 20, a game in which Kathleen Kinslow had a hat trick (three goals), the Lady Raiders were drubbed 9-0 by Deerfield-Windsor Tuesday, March 27, at Southland Academy. They also fell to Tiftarea Academy 2-1 on Thursday, March 22, in Chula, GA.

“The effort that the girls are playing with is very good,” Southland head coach Rundy Foster said. “DWS is obviously one of the better programs in the state. We just have to do a few little things better. We have a great shot at making the playoffs, and then we go from there.

The Lady Raiders will try to bounce back as they get another crack at DWS. This time, it will be in Albany on March 29 at 6 p.m.
