AMERICUS
Piney Grove No. 3 Baptist Church
The church choir celebrate its 47th anniversary at 3 p.m. April 8. Community choirs are asked to render at least two selections. The public is invited.
Butterflies in Flight Ministries Inc.
“Iron Sharpens Iron” Women Conference 2018 is at 7 p.m. April 5-7 at 311 Rees St. Men are also welcome) featuring Five-Fold Ministry Gifts with various apostles, prophetesses, evangelists and teachers. Registration is $20 for all three nights. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. Seating is limited.

An Easter service starts at 10:30 a.m. April 1. Everyone is welcome.
Good News Ministries
The Annual Survivors’ Luncheon is March 24. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon. This luncheon is held to honor cancer survivors and one guest in Sumter County and surrounding counties. The annual mission and ushers anniversary is celebrated at 11 a.m. May 20 during the worship service. Everyone is invited.
Deliverance Tabernacle Inc.
Resurrection Celebration is from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 1 at Boone Park, 408 Rucker St. Come out and receive a word from the Lord, and receive prayer and support from local ministers. Activities include water slides for the kids, an Easter egg hunt and games. Enjoy free food and refreshments.
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The second anniversary of Pastor Ricky and first lady Veronda Cladd is celebrated at 2 p.m. April 15. Morning services are at 11 a.m. conducted by Pastor William Laster and Ebenezer Baptist Church of Ellaville. The 2 p.m. service is conducted by Pastor George F. Edge and the Restoration Church of Americus, The public is invited. Dinner will be served following the second service.
Calvary Episcopal Church
At 5 p.m. April 22, Brink Bush, Americus native and international concert organist, will appear in concert at Calvary Episcopal Church. Seated at the organ he played in his teenage years as he was learning more and more about the instrument that would one day make him famous in the world of organ music, Bush will offer an hour of musical enchantment rarely heard in our city. The concert is open to the public at no cost. A reception honoring the artist follows.
Kingdom of Heaven Ministries Inc.
A Prophetic Thrust Revival is at 7 p.m. April 11-13. Speakers ae Prophet Terry Weems, Prophetess Turkeisa Rushin and Prophetess Shanterica Robinson, consecutively. Everyone is invited.

The church’s 128th anniversary is celebrated at 2 p.m. April 1. Speaker is the Rev. Willie Greene, pastor of Forest Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Pinehurst. Dinner will be served. The public is invited.

The annual Youth Revival us at 7:30 p.m. April 26 and 27 with guest speaker Minister Cory Price of Grace and Truth Revival Center Leslie. Theme this year is “Order My Steps in Thy Word.”

The pastor and first lady Apostle Henry and Prophetess Mary Holsey’s 29th anniversary is celebrated April 8. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. and worship at 11. The celebration concludes at 2:30 p.m. Guest minister is the Rev. Lucious Mitchell along with his churches, Green Grove Baptist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church of Parrott. Everyone is invited.
