Members of the Southland Academy Raider Band, directed by Rob Ivey (not pictured), traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii, over their Spring Break during the first week of April. There they combined with another high school band from Laurens, South Carolina, and played patriotic anthems on the deck of the USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor (shown in the background). The Raiders spent the remainder of their week seeing the breathtaking sights of the island of Oahu including Diamond Head Crater, the North Shore beaches, Dole Plantation and Hanauma Bay.
