Marie Liles Thompson, age 89, died at her residence on April 14, 2018. Mrs. Thompson was a native of Sumter County, born the daughter of the late William Martin and Cora Roberts Liles. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, the Order of Eastern Star and the DeMolay Mothers Club.

Funeral Services are planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Hugh DeLoach officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by one son Joseph Thompson, of Leslie; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ray and Rhoda Thompson of Warner Robins, and Joyce Stovall, of Tallahassee, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Thompson; two brothers, William Dorsey Liles and Marion Andrew Liles.
