The Mayor and City Council of the City of Americus will hold a called meeting for the purpose of conducting a public hearing requested by former City Manager, Steve Kennedy at 5 p.m. May 31 at the Russell Thomas, Jr. Public Safety Building – Council Chambers. The meeting is open to the public. The city first reported this as an appeal hearing, but later changed it to a public hearing.
