Four local sororities came together as ‘Sisters in Service’ to increase voter education and voter mobilization for the Primary Election held earlier this week. They are Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. Canvassing Teams were in place in Sumter and Terrell counties encouraging all registered voters to ‘Vote Today.’ Citizens of Sumter, Terrell, and Macon counties can expect to receive more resources on voter education and voter mobilization as the Nov. 6 General Election approaches.
