Some inaccurate information was included in a story entitled “Law Enforcement remembered at memorial ceremony” in the May 16 edition.
It was stated that the Rev. Larry B. Sims, pastor of Union Tabernacle Baptist Church, gave the opening prayer when, in fact, he did not. He was unable to be present. In his place, the Rev. David Kitchens gave the opening prayer at the ceremony.
