The Southland Academy fourth-grade students recently entered the My Place Project sponsored by the Americus Town Committee of The National Society of The Colonial Danes of America in the state of Georgia. The purpose of the project is to instill in each student a sense of pride and to understand and appreciate where each of them fits into their homes, school, and community. The fourth graders are very excited to have received fourth place in the state competition. Southland Academy appreciates the opportunity to participate in the My Place Project competition.
