COLUMBUS — Peggy Karen Goodin of Americus, Ga., died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, Georgia, with the Rev. Tony Bankhead officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday evening at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, Ga., 31907.

Mrs. Goodin was born Sept. 5, 1952, in Talbotton, Ga., daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Bullock and Bessie Mae Ward Bullock. She was the owner and professional tax preparer at Peggy K. Goodin Accounting. Mrs. Goodin loved Jesus, her family, and her clients.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her friend, Barry Gray of Americus, Ga.; nieces, Chasity Sanders (Jerry) of Box Springs, Ga., Robin Bankhead (the Rev. Tony) of Columbus, Ga., and Debbie Carden of Buena Vista, Ga.; nephew, Shawn Bullock of Abbeville; and great-nieces, Deseray Cannon and Kasey Sanders, both of Box Springs, Ga.
