The Sumter County Stockyard is currently managed by Dr. LeAnna Wilder and Sam Steele. Wilder commissioned Linda Adams of Schley County to paint a mural depicting a cattle farm scene. The mural measures 8 ft. by 16 ft., and is mounted on the back wall of the Sales Arena. The mural includes a pasture of Black Angus cattle, a field with round bales of hay, a pecan grove with a deer and fawn, a barn, a cabin, chickens, a dog, crows flying over, and a squirrel.
