AMERICUS
Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church
Campbell Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church Restoration Project Inc. invites the public to a Celebration Program at 3 p.m. July 22 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. 411 Cotton Ave. guest speaker is Americus Mayor Barry Blount. Zion Hope Baptist Church
Women & Men Day is observed at 10 a.m. July 22 with speakers, first lady Debra Monts and Pastor George F. Monts. Everyone is invited.

Summer Revival services are at 7 p.m. July 19 and 8:30 a.m. July 22. A special service is at 8:30 a.m. July 15 with guest speaker Thomas Rhyant Jr.

Mount Salem Baptist Church
The annual Mission Day Program is at 11 a.m. July 22.

New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church
Annual revival services start at 7 p.m. July 21-Aug. 2.
Homecoming Services are at 11 a.m. Aug. 5. Dinner will be served.

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The annual Family & Friends Day is celebrated at 2 p.m. Aug. 5. Guest speaker is Minister Calvin Laster of Seed of Abraham Church. The public is invited.

BUENA VISTA
Mount Pleasant Baptist Church
The annual revival is at 7:30 p.m. July 31-Aug. 2 with Pastor Colby McKenzie as preacher. July 31 features the Mount Olive Choir; Aug. 1, St. Mark; and Aug. 2, Choir, Mount Zion Baptist.
On Aug. 5, the church and pastor’s anniversaries are observed. Sunday School is at 10 a.m. and worship is at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jacob Franklin and New Life Christian Ministry in charge.

Mahalia Chapel A.M.E. Church
Annual Homecoming is celebrated at 2:30 p.m. July 22 when the Rev. Norris B. Harris brings the message. Everyone is welcome.

Youth & Young Adult Celebration is at 11 a.m. July 22.

William Grove Baptist Church
The Men’s Ministry presents a “50 Men in Black and 50 Women in White Program” at 11 a.m. July 29 guest minister, the Rev. Charles McDonald, formerly of Andersonville.
The 109th church anniversary observance includes Pre-Anniversary Services at 7:30 p.m. July 31-Aug. 2 culminating on Aug. 5 with the anniversary. The public is invited. The schedule is July 31, the Rev. James Hill and Zion Hill Baptist Church, Leslie; Aug. 1, the Rev. Michael Coley and First United Holiness Church, Montezuma; Aug. 2, the Rev. Larry B. Sims and Union Tabernacle Baptist Church, Americus; and 11 a.m. Aug. 5, the Rev. Mathis Wright and New Union Grove Baptist Church, Americus. Dinner will be served.

Annual revival services start at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7-9.

New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church
Revival culminates July 22 with the church pastor, the Rev. E Terrell Carter bringing the message.

Freedom Harvest Worship Center
The first Let Them Talk as We Listen Forum and Back to Schools Bash start at 4 p.m. July 28. All children are invited. The forum consists of the Rev. Marc Arnett, Elder Dee Harvey, Whitney Kimbrough, Veronica Arline, RN, and T’keyah Swain. Churches are asked to donate schools supplies.

PLAINS
St. Mark A.M.E. Church
Everyone is invited to celebrate the 148th church anniversary at 11 a.m. July 22 with the Rev. O. Quintodd Bryant as speaker. Dinner will be served.

Greater Cedar Spring Baptist Church
The 78th Progressive Usher’s Convention Program is at 11 a.m. July 29.

SMITHVILLE
New Hope A.M.E. Church
The annual Back to School Rally from 10 a.m.-noon July 28. School supplies will be donated to all children in the community. Refreshments will be served.

PRESTON
Mount Zion Webster Missionary Baptist Church
Annual Homecoming Celebration is Sunday, July 22. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. followed worship at 11 a.m.

Preston Baptist Church
Homecoming Day is celebrated at 11 a.m. July 22. Julie Page pianist and Turner Middleton along with the choir provide special music. Guest speaker is the Rev. Rendell Day. After the service all are welcome to attend an old southern meal cooked by some of the state of Georgia very best cooks. The delicious meal will be served in the spacious church fellowship hall. Church doors are wide open and all are welcome to attend.
The church hosts its first Two Hours of Great Southern Gospel Music Concert at 6 p.m. July 29. The well-known Seekers Quartet will perform as well as many more.

WESTON
St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church
Annual revival services start at 7:30 p.m. July 30-Aug. 3 with Evangelist for the week, the Rev. Perez Blackmon, Pastor oNew St. Mark Baptist Church, Richland.
Homecoming Service/Worship Service is at at 11 a.m. Aug. 5. The public is invited.

DAWSON
Eastern District of The A.M.E. Church
A Rock the Block Back to School Rally is from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 4 featuring games, food, drinks, jumping castles, free school supplies, and prizes for all children.
