Can you spell FUN? The Southland Academy first graders in Lisa Collins’ class enjoyed writing their spelling words, reviewing vocabulary, and practicing their math skills in the shaving cream which covers their desks. This sensory activity is a good way to help students retain the academic material. These students love learning and as they go along, their hands will get messier and messier, but that’s the fun of it!
