AMERICUS — Mr. M. Clinton Taylor, age 65, passed away on Sunday morning, Aug. 12, 2018, at his home in Americus.

Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with the Rev. Brooks Partain officiating.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 1 and 2 p.m. on Friday at Hancock Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.

The son of the late Freddie Morris Taylor and Virginia Harris Taylor, he was born on Sept. 8, 1952, in Ocilla. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the United States Army and had been employed as a sandblaster in the automobile and tractor painting industry. He enjoyed watching wrestling, Nascar, and was a huge Ozzy Osbourne fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Annette McLeod and Lynn Nobles; and by a nephew, Jason Nobles.

Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Cox (Darryl) of Ellaville; grandchildren: Christopher Cox, Eric Cox, Shaun Cox, and Kayleigh Cox; one sister, Karen Bailey (James L.) of Americus; and several nieces and nephews.
