AMERICUS – The Georgia Southwestern State University Baseball Program will be holding its annual select camp on Saturday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hurricane Stadium. The camp is for high school players from grades 9th through 12th.

This is a one-day camp that will feature instruction and a showcase / pro-style workout in which high school players can display their talents.

Only the GSW coaching staff will be teaching the skills necessary to reach the collegiate playing level. As a player, you will have the opportunity to meet the coaching staff one-on-one and be evaluated by the camp staff. The camp is designed for the player who is serious about taking their game to the next level.

GSW baseball camps are designed to improve the baseball fundamentals of each player. Each player will have the opportunity to meet and receive instruction from some of the top coaches in the country. Each player will be provided his evaluation upon request.

There are a limited number of players at each position. Players who want to attend the camp should register now to secure their spot.

Players will be able to meet and interact with the GSW coaching staff. They will receive the following:

• Instruction about hitting, defense and pitching
• Information about strength and conditioning
• Information about recruiting and academics
• An evaluation upon request
