Peggy Roquemore’s first graders at Southland Academy have been watching a miniature pineapple grow in their classroom. Imagine their surprise when the tasty treat ripened just as they turned over the wall sound card for P! They had already planned to celebrate the letter P and the ‘Popcorn Sound’ by popping corn in their classroom. Much to their delight they all had a tasty sampling of fresh pineapple as well. Yum!
