AMERICUS — The Sumter County Board of Elections announces the dates and time for Advanced in Person voting, (Early Voting). Early Voting for the Nov. 6 General Election will commence promptly at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, and continue until 5 p.m. Early Voting will continue daily Monday through Friday, until Nov. 2. Early Voting will also take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.
Voters are required to produce a photo ID in order to vote.
Voters are reminded that the last day to register to vote in the November Election is Oct. 9.
Voters are also reminded that they can check their registration and receive candidate and polling place information at https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do
