AMERICUS — The Beta Gamma Sigma Board of Governors recently notified Georgia Southwestern State University School of Business Administration’s chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma that it had been recognized as an Honors Chapter for the 2017-2018 academic year. This designation is given to chapters that are in good standing with Global Headquarters and demonstrate full engagement of its membership in Beta Gamma Sigma Activities.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the International Business Honor Society which recognizes top performing students from business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Undergraduates from second-semester sophomores and up who are in the top 10 percent of their class and master’s students who are in the top 20 percent of their class are invited to join. Induction ceremonies are held in the spring of each year.
