AMERICUS — Margaret Elizabeth Hebert, 71, of Americus died Monday, Oct. 29 at her home. A native of Connecticut, she was born Nov. 9, 1946. She was a former dance instructor with Fred Astaire Dance Studios and loved to crochet.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Carter officiating.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Hebert of Americus; a niece, Jane Smith; a nephew and his wife, Matthew John and Lea Hebert; great-niece Meadow Hebert; great-nephew Brandon Hebert; and a sister-in-law Claire Hebert.
