With 6 of 11 precincts reporting, incumbent Democratic Congressman Sanford Bishop is leading Republican candidate Herman West Jr. in Sumter County for the US Congressional District 2 Race. Bishop has tallied 4,107 votes to Wests’s 3,573. That is 53.48 percent for Bishop and 46.52 percent for West.
