AMERICUS — Local Mediacom employee David Smith earned a top customer service award during an awards ceremony held at Mediacom’s Regional Operations Center in Valdosta.
Smith, an Americus resident, was awarded the national bronze-level award for ‘Outstanding Sales’ in the technical operations group. Smith is one of 13 recipients from across the company to earn a bronze-level award and has been employed with Mediacom and its predecessor company for 22 years.
Mediacom employs 4,600 people companywide. The company’s owner and senior management team personally present annual awards to employees who earn the highest performance rankings and demonstrate outstanding service.
