On Aug. 30, at South Georgia Technical College, Ben Andrews. M.D., was honored with the Outstanding Eagle Award by the Boy Scouts of America. Due to the corporate sponsorship of $4,000 Phoebe Sumter Medical Center made to this event, 125 family members, friends, and colleagues were able to enjoy a night of recognizing Andrews and financially supporting the local Boy Scout Council.
