ASHBURN — Jerry Franklin Barry passed away on Jan. 3, 2019, at his home in Calhoun, Ga. Jerry was born in Ashburn, Ga., but grew up in Americus, Ga., where he lived until he relocated to Calhoun. Jerry held several occupations before retiring from Walker Rhodes Tractor Co.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lynn West Barry, as well as three children: Laura Barry Pittman (Gil), Scott Barry (Christy), and Matthew Barry; five grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and three brothers: Bobby Barry (Tricia), Charles Barry (Joyce), and Benny Barry (Connie).

Jerry is best known for his sense of humor and spending time with his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at Eastside Baptist Church in Americus.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Homespun Hospice in Calhoun, Ga.
