AMERICUS – Students at the Sumter County Primary School who made their Accelerated Reader goal for the 2nd nine weeks were treated to a Georgia Southwestern State University basketball game. They got to go to the Storm Dome and watch the GSW men’s basketball team take on Francis Marion University on Monday, December 17. Students enjoyed meeting the GSW mascot, Surge, visiting the concession stand and cheering on the Hurricanes.
