Americus Garden Inn B&B earns 2019 World Title
From Staff Reports
AMERICUS — Earlier this month, TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, announced the recipients of the 2019 Travelers’ Choice Awards for the Top 25 B&Bs in the world and the Top 25 B&Bs in the United States. This award is a coveted title earned by the best of the top 1 percent of all lodging properties. The Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast was selected as a winner in both categories with a spectacular rating as the number 4 B&B in the United States and number 17 in the World. This is the 10th time in 13 years that Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast has been recognized with this prestigious award as a leader in the hospitality industry.
Kim and Susan Egelseer, the owners of the perennial favorite Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast since 2002, said they are sincerely grateful for the many people who have shared their experiences at the B&B on TripAdvisor. “For us, this is very personal,” said Kim. “This is our home, we have no staff, we personally attend to all of our guests’ needs.” Susan added, “This is not a job. This is our life. We take an active interest in all of our guests and treat them as treasured friends.” They explained the difference between a stay at their B&B and a hotel. “Hotels care about heads in beds. We care about people and making a personal connection,” said Kim. Susan added, “Most of our guests come to have an authentic experience, to unplug from the virtual world, and enjoy a slower pace.”
“A wonderful experience,” “Perfect,” “Amazing Hosts – Amazing Bed and Breakfast” are just some of the most recent guest reviews of the Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast.
Located in the residential historic district of Americus, on Rees Park, the Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast features seven individually-decorated rooms all with ensuite bath. Rooms are available by advance reservation by direct booking only. For additional information about the Americus Garden Inn, visit https://americusgardeninn.com/ or call 229-931-0122.
