Americus-Sumter County Tourism held its daylong Winter Retreat Tuesday at Americus Holiness Deliverance Church. The theme was ‘Team Spirit,’ and participants were invited to wear clothing reflecting their favorite sports team, club, organization, sorority/fraternity, office, whatever. More than 75 participated in the event that featured sharing experiences, hearing from leaders in the tourism industry, community building workshop, and fun.
