Southland Academy Raiders’ basketball season comes to an end

MILLEDGEVIILE – The Southland Academy Raider basketball team faced Holy Spirit Prep, the two-time defending GISA state champions, in the first round of the GISA State Tournament on Wednesday, February 13, at John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville.
Unfortunately for the Raiders, they were unable to get past a strong HSP team and lost 60-39 to end the 2018-19 season at 14-10.
Playing in his final game as a Raider, senior Forward Chandler Studdard scored 11 points and sophomore Owen Exley scored 10 points.
