Rainbow Garden Club designates February Yard of the Month
The Rainbow Garden Club has chosen Lillian Flynt’s yard as February Yard of the Month. She lives in the northern part of Schley County in the Concord community.
When riding by you will know it’s Lillian’s because you will see the Rainbow Garden Club Sign in her front yard. This is a special project that the Garden Club has had for years. Everyone waits from month to month to see whose yard that has been chosen for the month.

The Schley County Board of Education is looking for a new middle and high school principal in addition to a new superintendent.
At the last school board meeting Schley County Middle-High School Principal Todd West presented a letter of resignation. He is moving to Colorado to take another position. He thanked each board member for the four fantastic years that he had spent as principal of the local school. He was to leave this week. We all wish him well.
