AMERICUS – Georgia Southwestern State University golfer Vincent Norman has been named the Peach Belt Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for the week of March 25. The announcement was made by the PBC on Thursday, March 28.

Norman shot three rounds under par to finish in second place individually in the Bearcat Classic in Greenwood, SC, which was held Monday and Tuesday, March 25-26. That tournament consisted of 110 golfers. The junior from Stockholm, Sweden has now been named the PBC Men’s Golfer of the Week for the fifth time in his career. This came about after he shot rounds of 70, 71 and 69 to finish six under par with a total score of 210 in the tournament. Norman’s efforts enabled the Hurricanes to finish in fourth place out of 22 teams. GSW tied for fourth place with Newberry College.

Norman currently leads the PBC with a 71.48 stroke average.
