Southland Academy first graders recently enjoyed their annual visit to Chehaw Park and Zoo, Albany. After the students began their day at the spacious playground area, they enjoyed a fun a picnic on the grounds. They were excited to tour the Zoo and attend the Animal ABC’s presentation. The students rode the trolley through the Veldt while observing animals in their natural habitat. One of their favorite stops was the Meerkat exhibit and Maze. Southland students always have a fun and educational experience at Chehaw Park and Zoo.
