AMERICUS
Old Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The Pastor’s 12th Anniversary Celebration culminates at 11 a.m. May 19 with Son of the House, Minister Trenton Floyd. Anniversary colors are teal, coral, black, and white.

Friendship Missionary Baptist Church
Everyone is also invited to the annual Revival Services May 19-23. The Sunday service starts at 6 p.m. with the Rev. De’Angelo Jones and Union Baptist Church, Morgan, in charge. Guest revivalist Monday through Thursday @ 7pm will be The Rev. Rod Hubbard of Greater Cedar Springs Baptist Church, Plains, is guest evangelist at 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Scotts Mater C.M.E. Church
The first black church organized in Americus celebrates its 160th anniversary at 2:30 p.m. May 19. Dr. Maurice S. Cherry, retired Texas College (Tyler, Texas) president, presiding elder and pastor the speaker for the event.

Samaritan Fellowship Church of God in Christ
The annual Women’s Day is observed at 3 p.m. May 19 with guest speaker, Co-Pastor Betty Harvey of United House of Prayer, Americus.
Revival services are at 7 p.m. May 20-23 with speakers Evangelist Geraldine Blackshear of Nazarene Church of God in Christ, May 20; Pastor Mary Minter of Restore Faith Ministry, May 21; Elder Ellen Battle of Tabernacle of Faith, May 22; and first lady Debra Monts of Zion Hope Baptist Church, May 23. Everyone is welcome.

United Holiness Church
The 46th church anniversary is observed at 6 p.m. May 18. Everyone is invited.

Perry B. Grove Baptist Church
A women’s conference culminates at 1 p.m. May 18 with Bishop Maggie Washington and Solid Rock Ministry.

New Corinth Baptist Church
All area churches and the public are invited to the observance of church’s and pastor’s anniversaries May 19 during the 11:30 a.m. worship service.

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The annual Choir and Praise Team Anniversary is celebrated at 2 p.m. June 9. Each choir and Praise Team is asked to render two selections or two performances.

LESLIE
Old Corinth Missionary Baptist Church
The Women’s Day Program is held during the 10 a.m. worship service May 19. Speaker is Sister Carolyn Williams of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Parrott. Tamera Clark is mistress of ceremonies. All are welcome.

New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church
The public is invited to the 135th church anniversary and pastor’s 9th anniversary during the 11 a.m. worship service May 26. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. Dinner will be served.

PLAINS
Old Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The annual Deacon and Deaconess Fellowship Program is at 2 p.m. May 19 with guest speaker, Minister Dianne Laster of Anointed Hearts Church of Americus.

Lebanon Baptist Church
Deacon, Deaconess, Mission, and Women Day are observed May 26, beginning with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. A reading will be given by Sister Mary Bryant and the sermon by the Rev. Hosie Waters. Everyone invited.

PRESTON
New Hope Missionary Baptist Church
The annual Mission Anniversary is celebrated on May 26. Prayer service is 9:15 a.m., Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., and devotional service at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Ronald G. Wilson Sr. delivers the sermon. Women are asked to wear white and men to wear black.

WESTON
St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church
The pastor’s third anniversary service is at 2 p.m. June 2. Evangelist is the Rev. Ronald G. Wilson Sr. We are asking New Hope Baptist Church family, choir, ushers, and other auxiliaries to be on program. Morning worship service is at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

LUMPKIN
Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church
Annual revival services are at 7:30 p.m. June 17-21. Evangelist for the week is the Rev. J. L. Kegler, pastor of Benevolence Baptist Church, Randolph County. Everyone is welcome.
