COLUMBUS — Mary-Margaret Waddell of Americus, the reigning Miss Flint River Junior Miss, for the seventh consecutive year is participating this week in the 75^th annual Miss Georgia Scholarship Pageant in Columbus, and is a Miss Georgia Princess for Albany Outstanding Teen Kaitlyn Tanner.

Pageant competition began Wednesday at the River Center for Performing Arts and includes crowning of the 2019 Miss Georgia Teen Friday evening and concludes Saturday evening when Miss Georgia 2019 is named.

Mary-Margaret, 10, is the daughter of Mark and Crystal Waddell of Americus.
