A Deacon Commissioning Ceremony for Michael Holloway and Darrell Pines is at 10 a.m. June 23. At 3 p.m. a Ministerial Licensing Ceremony for Pamela Fields and Jessica Sinclair will be held. Everyone is welcome at both.

 

Hebron Baptist Church

The 125th anniversary of its founding is celebrated at a special service at 10:30 a.m. July 14. All family and friends are invited to attend and enjoy the service, special music, and meal afterward. The 134th church anniversary and the 32nd pastor’s anniversary are celebrated during the 11 a.m. worship service June 23 when the Rev. W. R. Campbell brings the sermon. At 2 p.m., the Rev. Hosie Waters and Lebanon Baptist Church are in charge of the service.

 

Healing Temple Ministries

“Faithful and Determined” have their debut program at 5 p.m. June 30. Admission is free. Mount Pleasant Baptist Church

Everyone is invited to the annual revival services at 7 p.m. July 30-Aug. 1 with Pastor Colby McKenzie as guest preacher. A different choir performs each night: Mount Olive on July 30, St. Mark’s on July 31, and Mount Zion on Aug. 1.

The public is also invited to celebrate the church and pastor anniversary at 11 a.m. Aug. 4 when Magnolia Bay’s pastor, officers, choir, ushers, and congregation take charge of the service.

Big Bethel Baptist Church

The church anniversary is celebrated at 11 a.m. June 23 with the Rev. Roderick Hubbard as guest speaker. Everyone is welcome.

 

Jackson Grove Baptist Church

The church youth invites everyone to the annual Youth Revival. On June 23, the celebration continues with Sunday school at 8:15 a.m. and worship at 9 a.m. when Brother Terrell Williams of Antioch Baptist Church brings words of encouragement. At 2:30 p.m. the youth host a music celebration and invite all youth and youth choirs in the surrounding area to participate.

St. Mark A.M.E. Church

The 149^th Church Anniversary is celebrated at 11 a.m. July 28 during worship service with speaker, the Rev. Shirley Strawter. Everyone is invited to attend. Dinner will be served.

 

PRESTON

Mount Zion Webster Missionary Baptist Church

The Usher’s Ministry anniversary is observing June 23. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m., followed by worship at 11 a.m. when the minister brings the message. Numerous Usher Ministries have been invited. The public is invited.
