ALBANY — Mr. John Randolph Hodges Jr., age 89, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

Funeral services and committal services are planned for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with the Rev. Brooks Partain officiating. Interment will be private in Hodges Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the funeral services at Hancock Funeral Home.

Born March 28, 1930, in Andersonville, he was a son of the late John Randolph Hodges Sr. and the late Mattie Horne Hodges.

Mr. Hodges was retired from sales with the Chaney Co.

Survivors include his wife, Eveline Jarrett Hodges of Americus; one brother, Warren Hodges; and several nieces and nephews.
