Mrs. Ethel Gertrude Ray Forehand age 99, of Americus, passed away Saturday November 2, 2019 at Perfect Care. The family will have a private Interment at 2:00 p.m. Monday December 9, 2019 at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Bill Dupree will officiate.

Mrs. Forehand was born December 9, 1919 in Walton County, Florida. She was the daughter of Daniel G. Ray and Leola Garrett Ray. She was preceded in death by her brother, Randal Ray and her husband Willard “Bill” F. Forehand.

She was a wonderful, loving Mother, Grandmother, Homemaker and friend to all. She was a professional secretary, member of the Garden Club and member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four children and their spouses, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
