AMERICUS – The Americus Police Department has arrested Schakur Malik Paul, the suspect in the January 9th Armed Robbery of an Americus convenient store. Paul was arrested without incident after police received information that he was staying in a vacant house in the 300 block of Patterson Street in Americus.Schakur Malik Paul is being charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
