The health of our staff and the community as a whole is important to us.

Our office located at 101 GA Hwy 27 East will be closed to the public effective March 19, 2020.  We will continue to conduct business as usual serving this community with local news as we have done since 1879.

We are available by phone at (229)924-2751  Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for any circulation or advertising needs.

We would love to hear from you!  Americus is known for it’s “giving” nature. In times of uncertainty and anxiety, we could all benefit from hearing stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.  Your hometown newspaper invites you to share these stories.  Know of someone in our community helping older residents with shopping?  Know a teacher who is helping students while they are out of school?
