Mrs. Ida Frances Smith, age 78, passed away on Friday, May 01, 2020 peacefully at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born in Andalusia, Alabama on December 23, 1941 to the late Egbert and Gladys Smith. Mrs. Smith was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She retired from Sumter Regional Hospital as a coding specialist. She enjoyed shopping, collecting dolls and cookbooks. She loved going to the beach and mountains. Above everything else she loved her family and was dedicated to them.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Marvin Smith Jr. of Andersonville, her children, Mike & Selinn Legg, Johnny & Barbara Legg, Kathy & Brian Kiley, and Chip Smith; grandchildren, Misty & Jeff Lalaian, Ashley & Adam Saint, Matt & Carlie Kiley, Anna Legg, Laurel & Colby Eason, Mallory Legg, Mackenzie & Jason Sizemore, and Chad Smith; twelve great-grandchildren, her siblings, Dennis & Diane Smith and Barbara McCarty,  and also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2020  at Oakgrove Cemetery with Rev. Rusty Mauldin officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents Egbert and Gladys Smith and a brother Donnie Smith.
