Sumter County Schools release this morning:

Sumter County’s School Nutrition Program will be distributing meals on Wednesday, May 6th, at Americus Sumter Ninth Grade Academy at 915 North Lee Street.  We will be dispersing meal bags starting at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  There will be 5 breakfast meals and 5 lunches for each child 2 years to 18 years old.  Please remember that children must be present at pick up.  We look forward to providing our youth with nutritious meals including fresh fruits, vegetables and more than a half gallon of milk!  We ask that everyone stay in their cars and we will bring the meals to the car.  If you are walking there will be a separate table set up for walk-up traffic, but note that the bags will be heavy because they contain 5 days worth of meals and a half gallon of milk in each bag.
