AMERICUS – South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) is currently registering students remotely for the online eight-week summer semester, which begins Wednesday, May 27. This is a great way for a prospective student to make his or her summer count. The online application fee and placement test requirements have been waived for admission during the Coronavirus outbreak. SGTC also provides the use of textbooks at no cost to students.

Over 450 classes will be offered in an online or distance learning option for the eight-week semester. SGTC is also offering 18 general core courses, including English, Psychology, Literature, College Algebra, Economics, Art and Music Appreciation, Political Science, and History classes. The college also offers a number of online services, including academic counseling and tutoring, that will help students navigate the summer semester. The financial aid application can be completed online, but assistance is only an email or phone call away for students with questions.
