From Americus Police Department: Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Assault

 

On May 19, 2020 at 12:11 PM officers of the Americus Police Department responded to a reported shooting at a residence in the 700 Block of Fulton Street in Americus.

The victim, 29 year old Bridgett Nickole Jones, was transported to Phoebe Sumter Regional Medical Center by private vehicle. The suspect in the shooting has been identified as 36 year old Derrick Jermain Lester of Americus.
